  • South: San Jacinto Peak towering over the valley.

  • West: The San Gorgonio Mountains—the highest peak in Southern California. The natural corridor formed between San Gorgonio and San Jacinto funnels coastal wind, creating the region’s famous windmill phenomenon.

HOW TO USE "READ THE LANDSCAPE" WITH AI

Turn your smartphone into a personal trail guide using live visual AI (such as Google Gemini):

  1. Open your AI camera app (or use live camera mode) while standing at any point along the ridge.

  2. Point your camera toward the surrounding mountains, valley, or rock formations.

  3. Ask: "Gemini, Read the Landscape" or "What geological features and mountain peaks am I looking at right now?"

  4. The AI will identify the visible landmarks, flora, and mountain peaks in real time.
